Payments for the products can be done using cash or credit card as e-Commerce offers credit card integration facility of Gateways for secured payments.

User Interface

The User Interface consists of products that are listed into different categories. The E-catalogue page will contain Category names or pictures.

  • Click on the Category name or picture to view the products under that particular category.
  • Category screen displays the products related to that specific category.
  • Dropdown box to allow selection of Quantity of the products.
  • Screen showing the unit price and the total price.
  • Change Quantity and Recalculate function.
  • Check out payment section consisting of User Name, Password fields and a registration form.
  • Registration Form for membership applications.
  • Shipping Details function.
  • Payment Type selection functions for cash or credit cards.
  • Product Details display.
  • Credit Card payments take user to the 3rd party URL i.e. the secure server to enable payment using a credit card.

If the payment is by cash then system displays the message ‘Thank you for your Interest, we will contact you at the earliest’.

Administration Section

The Admin Section is accessible and controlled by the Administrator. To monitor the E-Catalogue section the Administrator performs functions like

  • Manage Category
  • Manage Product
  • Auto responder
  • Feature Management
  • Feature Details
  • Order Details
  • Manage shipping

Manage Category - displays Product Category Details. Add a Category - Click on the ‘Add New Category’ link. The Add New Category screen appears. The new category is added in the list on the Product Category Details screen. Edit a Category - Click on the Edit icon of the category that you want to edit. The Edit Category screen appears. To Delete a Category Click on the Delete icon.

Manage Product – displays Product Category Details screen. Click on the ‘Add New Product’ link. The Add New Product screen appears. Click on the Edit icon of the product that you want to edit. The Edit Product screen appears. To Delete a Product Click on the Delete icon.

Auto Responder - The Administrator is responsible for sending Auto Responders to the Subscribers or clients whenever he receives any mails from them.

Manage Shipping - This section allows entering the Shipping Details which are seen in the front end when the user fills the registration form. Click on ‘Manage Shipping’ link on the Admin Section page. The list of all the shipping methods appears. To Add Shipping Method Click on the ‘Add Shipping Method’ link. The Add Shipping screen appears. To Edit Shipping Method Click on the Modify button for the ship that you want to edit. The Edit Shipping screen appears. To Delete a Shipping Method Click on the ‘Delete’ link to delete ship details. The ship details are deleted from the list.

Feature Management Click on ‘Feature Management’ link on the Admin Section page. The Product Feature Details screen appears. To Add a Feature - Click on the ‘Add New Feature’ link. The Add New Feature screen appears. The new feature is added in the list on the Product Feature Details screen. To Edit a Feature Click on the Edit icon of the feature that you want to edit. The Edit Feature screen appears. To Delete a Feature Click on the Delete icon.

To Delete a Feature Click on the Delete icon to delete a product. To Add a Feature Click on the ‘Add Details’ link. The Add New Product screen appears. The new feature is added in the list on the Feature Details screen.

Order Report – lists all the Sales orders. To view the Sales Order Report Click on the ‘View’ link of the desired product. The Sales Order Report of that particular product is displayed. To Edit the Sales Order Report Click on the ‘Edit’ link of the desired product.
